Moss & Co Consulting have partnered with one of Australia’s largest corporate law firms located in the CBD to fill a Legal Assistant opportunity. This role will support a busy defendant insurance team.
This position is an integral part of their Melbourne General Insurance Team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a large team comprised of a number of partners, lawyers and clerks across a broad range of matters within their firm. You will work within a team environment, with dedicated operators. There are two Secretaries within this team.
Typical duties include –
- Diary management and travel booking
- Arranging medico legal assessments and briefing of Counsel
- Preparation of legal documents
- Preparation of correspondence (emails, memos and letters)
- Monthly billing
- Managing all electronic documentation
- Organising client and team events.
- Ad hoc administrative duties
